• World Book Day — We would love to encourage your children to come in dressed up as their favourite book character.u00a0 Prizes will be given for the best costumes (1 winner for each class).u00a0 Please feel free to be imaginative as possible.u00a0 Class teachers will be planning activities to promote reading for pleasure throughout the day. Your child will receive a u00a31 book voucher to use to purchase a WBD book of their choice. These books are available in local supermarkets, book stores and Walter Henryu2019s Bookshop. All World Book Day books are available in braille, large print and audio. Should your child require these formats, please follow this link to find out how you can access this.
• Parent Consultations — Appointments can be booked through the usual online booking system. Please arrive five minutes before your appointment time and sign in at the school hall on arrival. You will then be given information to take with you before going to your child’s classroom to meet the class teacher.
• After School Clubs end
• Narwhals and Orcas - Trip to the Woodland Clinic — In science we will be exploring plants. As part of this learning, the children will be investigating where plants would or wouldn't germinate. The trip to the Woodland Clinic will support with this. Please let us know if you could volunteer for this trip!
• Red Nose Day — Please wear red. We would suggest a donation of £1 that will be given to Red nose charity.

• Easter Bake Sale — The School Council will be running an Easter bake sale with bakes provided by years 5 and 6 children. Bakes will be available for all children to buy at break time for 50p each.

• Easter egg competition — The PTA will be running an egg decorating competition.u00a0 Feel free to be as creative as possible.
• Easter visit from St Mary's Church — To support our learning about the Holy week in RE, the team from St Mary's are kindly coming to visit us to do an exciting workshop with us.
