• Appledore Book Festival visit to Skern — We will be seeing the author Louie Stowell for an exciting and inspiring workshop. Transport is provided.
• Appledore Book Festival author visit — The author M. G. Leonard will be visiting the school to talk to year 6 about writing.
• Democracy workshop — Representatives from Torridge District Council will be running and democracy and development workshop with Year 6.
• Year 6 information evening 3:30 and 5:15 — Find out important information about learning in year 6, SATs and the residential.
• Provisional Northam Burrows Visit — Fully funded trip to Northam Burrows for a WW2 walking trail. We are still awaiting confirmation.
• Harmful substances workshop. — Dr Jess will be visiting year 6 to talk about the dangers of drugs and other harmful substances.
• Halloween disco — 4:45-5:45
• KS2 Halloween Discos — Save the date for our KS2 Halloween Disco! More information will be sent out closer to the event.
• KS1 Halloween Discos — Save the date for our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Halloween Disco! More information will be sent out closer to the event.
• Science Day — A whole-school day of exciting science activities, investigations and hands-on learning for every year group.
